I've had this set built up since June of 2020, but am just now getting around to posting it here on the blog.
The set is very straight forward - a good one for knocking together in one evening while watching TV. It consists of a nice looking hot rod automobile accompanied by a couple of minifigs in 'auto shop' garb.
I determined that the set deserved to be photographed in a MOC garage shop setting, so I paid a visit to my extensive parts/props stash.
A shop bench, rolling tool cabinet, and some judicious placement of tires, wheels, tools, and oil cans complete the scene.
Note the odd red brick at the bottom of the tool cabinet. I'm not sure where I got this one, but it's graced with a series of gray streaks on one side. I figured it would be perfect for the lower drawer of the cabinet, giving it that 'well-used' look.
